In 1949, true to the pioneering ‘get it done' spirit of our community, a few community members decided to create a credit union that would put people and their financial needs first. This was the beginning of Raymore Credit Union. We started out in one tiny room at the back of the local Co-op store. At our first annual general meeting we had 40 members. Today we are more than 2600 members and 2 branches strong.
We've come a long way since that tiny room, but our vision and goals remain the same. Raymore Credit Union continues to fulfill a vision to work together and grow our communities. Our members deposits are put back into our local communities to help support other members grow – such as achieving an education, buying a home, growing a business and more! Everything we do is for our members, to ensure their financial well-being is taken care of.
