Grade 12 Outstanding Student Award Recipients

Raymore Credit Union has been honoured to offer the Outstanding Student Award to Raymore and Punnichy High School for over the past 15 years. The recipient selection process for this award is completed by the high school teachers.  It is awarded to a student who achieves academic excellence, cooperates with staff and students, provides exemplary work in extra-curricular activities, and motivates others to contribute their time and talent to the school. This person exemplifies the virtues of honesty, a positive attitude, honoring commitments, and treating others with fairness and respect.     

On behalf of Raymore Credit Union staff & board, we would like to congratulate this years Outstanding Senior Student Award Recipients: 

·        Raymore High School:     Savannah Fendelet

·        Punnichy High School:    Cheyenne Kinequon-Toth

Savannah Fendelet Bio: 

Savannah joined Raymore School in grade 2.  She has always been a very polite individual.  Savannah is always willing to help others out, or pay them a nice compliment.  Savannah is also very academic.  She works hard in all her classes, and has earned herself the highest academic average in Grade 12.Savannah has played Volleyball and Badminton while at Raymore School.  She was also on the SLC as well as the Yearbook Committee.  Savannah also plays club volleyball with QCVC in Regina.

Savannah will be attending the University of Saskatchewan for her Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Years Education.  Savannah hopes to continue her education and get her Masters in Speech and Language Pathology in the future.

 

Cheyenne Kinequon-Toth Bio: 

Parents: Cory Toth (Yorkton) and Krista Kinequon (Day Star First Nation). Cheyenne has one brother, Kodi Kinequon, and one sister, Mariah Toth.  She resides on the Day Star First Nation.

Cheyenne attended Punnichy Elementary Community School from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade Eight and the Punnichy Community High school for Grades nine to twelve with one semester at the Raymore High school.  Throughout her school years, she focused on academics.  Her favorite subjects were the maths, sciences and ELA courses.   It was a special honor for her to be picked as the Grade Twelve class Valedictorian.  Outside of school, Cheyenne enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her friends. 

Cheyenne is attending the Arts and Science College at the University of Saskatoon in September.  In the future, she hopes to get into Radiology and pursuing a career in the Health sector.  She would like to thank her parents, grandparents, Day Star community and all her great teachers for their guidance and support over these years.
